A short history of my Xandria scripts

TV SITCOM PILOT
Cast and Crew Required
Looking for Female and Male actors in 30's plus:
Set designer , Investors, Comedy Writers, Producers

It was the end of May, 2009 when I answered this ad by Toni Martelli for comedy writers in Metro Screen.

I was really eager to apply so I called my best friend, Peter A. Cross, and convinced him that he should join me in this project as it was just up his alley. (Actually, I wasn't all that confident that I could go it alone.)

The three of us met on a beautiful June day in Rushcutters Bay Park and had a very positive discussion about Toni's Xandria TV series. Peter and I were hired to turn out a pilot script or three.

Now, before you jump right in to read the scripts below, these versions, alas, were not used in Toni's production
of the pilot but I've included them here to show what it takes to put together a TV show: hours and hours of blood, sweat and four-letter expletives. Anyway, I hope you will find some amusement in these early versions of Xandria and her world.

Please remember that Xandria and all her friends belong to Toni Martelli and you may play with them but you can't keep them - copyright belongs to Toni Martelli.

This screenplay is the first version presented to Toni. Mind you, this is the third version Peter and I wrote initially and the one we decided was the best.

After many re-writes, Toni settled on the best bits from a variety of sources and everyone was happy in the Kingdom of Make Believe.
